MD Comms Group has today announced the launch of MD Tech, a new specialist communications practice created to support ambitious technology companies, innovators and organisations navigating complex, fast-moving sectors. The launch follows significant growth in MD Comms Group's work across artificial intelligence, digital innovation and emerging technologies, particularly within healthcare.
Over the past year, the agency has worked with a growing number of organisations operating at the intersection of AI, health and science, supporting businesses to sharpen their corporate narratives, build market visibility, establish thought leadership and communicate complex technologies clearly to the audiences that matter.
This work has included communications programmes focused on artificial intelligence in healthcare, digital pathology, precision medicine, responsible AI and the use of technology to transform research, diagnosis and health systems.
The expansion of this work has created a clear and natural specialism for the agency, leading to the formal launch of MD Tech as the third practice within MD Comms Group, alongside MD Health and MD Social Impact.
Mita Dhullipala, Founder and CEO of MD Comms Group, said, “MD Tech has really been born from the work we have already been doing. Across a number of our clients, we have found ourselves increasingly immersed in artificial intelligence, digital innovation and the technologies that are changing how healthcare, science and society operate.
What became clear very quickly was that this was more than a growing area of work for us. We had developed a real specialism, a genuine curiosity and, frankly, a real appetite to do more. Technology companies are often doing incredibly complex and important work, but the communications challenge is making that work meaningful. The strongest technology stories are rarely about the technology alone but more likely to be about the problem it solves, the behaviour it changes and the impact it can have in the real world. That is where we believe we can add real value.”What became clear very quickly was that this was more than a growing area of work for us. MD Tech will offer strategic communications, corporate narrative and positioning, thought leadership, media relations, executive profiling, content strategy and issues counsel to organisations working across technology and innovation.
The new practice will initially build on the group's existing expertise in AI, health technology and science-led innovation, while expanding its work with technology businesses operating across a broader range of sectors.
The launch also reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of MD Comms Group's three practices.
Dhullipala continued, “The lines between health, technology and social impact are becoming increasingly blurred, and that is one of the things that makes this moment so exciting. AI is reshaping healthcare. Technology is creating new ways to tackle social challenges. Health innovation increasingly depends on data, digital infrastructure and responsible technology.
For us, the synergy between MD Health, MD Social Impact and MD Tech is incredibly natural. Each practice has its own expertise and identity, but together they allow us to look at complex challenges from a much wider perspective. Our North Star has always been about igniting change. MD Tech gives us another way to work with the organisations and ideas capable of doing exactly that.”
MD Tech will operate as a specialist practice within MD Comms Group, continuing the group's senior-led, integrated agency model.
