MD Health, a new healthcare communications agency designed to drive meaningful change through integrated campaigns, today announced its official launch as an independent entity. The agency has also revealed the appointment of Stephanie Harris as Associate Director, bolstering its expertise in patient advocacy, disease awareness, and strategic communications.

Founded by CEO Mita Dhullipala, a seasoned leader in healthcare policy and public affairs, MD Health seamlessly integrates communications and policy under one roof to address the growing demand for campaigns that transcend traditional silos. The agency’s launch comes at a critical juncture, as healthcare organisations increasingly seek boutique agency partners capable of blending scientific rigour, creative storytelling, communications expertise and policy acumen to shape outcomes.

MD Health’s distinct methodology is grounded in the conviction that sustainable change demands that campaigns not only resonate with a primary audience but also engage pivotal stakeholders across the broader ecosystem, ensuring meaningful and measurable outcomes. By integrating public relations, corporate communications, public affairs, and policy/advocacy services — supported by in-house creative, research, and strategy expertise — MD Health empowers its clients to navigate complex landscapes and amplify their influence at the local, regional and global levels.

Stephanie Harris joins MD Health from GCI Health, where she led award-winning campaigns in patient advocacy and disease awareness. Her appointment underscores the agency’s commitment to bridging grassroots engagement with high-level policy strategy. Harris’s track record includes designing programs that elevate patient voices, shape public understanding of diseases, and align with regulatory and policy environments.

“Today’s healthcare leaders recognise that advocacy and awareness cannot exist in a vacuum —they must be informed by science, supported by policy, and brought to life through creativity and communications that focus on where audiences are living and breathing,” said Harris. “MD Health’s model is exactly what the industry needs. I’m thrilled to collaborate with Mita and the team to build campaigns that drive measurable impact for patients and communities.”

The agency’s new independence reflects its ambition to operate with agility and focus, free from the constraints of legacy structures. “Healthcare’s challenges demand fresh thinking and fearless collaboration,” said Dhullipala. “As an independent agency, MD Health is poised to challenge conventions, spark innovation, and deliver campaigns that don’t just communicate messages — but catalyse real action. I am absolutely thrilled to have Stephanie join the team and I am truly excited for what is to come for MD Health.”

MD Health is driven by a singular mission to ignite change and is working with a variety of clients across the healthcare landscape including pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology and medical technology companies, patient advocacy groups and more. The agency aspires to establish itself as an enduring cornerstone of the industry in the years ahead.
