MD Health, the purpose-led healthcare communications agency, is proud to announce a new chapter in its evolution — the formation of MD Comms Group. This new parent structure brings together two distinct but aligned practices: MD Health and MD Social Impact.
As part of this reorganisation, MD Comms Group is also launching its latest practice — MD Social Impact — with the senior appointment of Kathryn Breitner Fermor-Hesketh as its inaugural Director. This strategic move reflects MD Comms Group’s growing ambition to connect the dots between health, equity, and social justice through bold, values-driven communications.
“We created MD Comms Group to reflect who we really are — a communications agency that doesn’t see health and social impact as separate, but deeply intertwined,” said Mita Dhullipala, Founder and CEO of MD Comms Group. “By bringing MD Health and MD Social Impact under one roof, we’re doubling down on our mission: to ignite change that is strategic, human, and transformational.”
The new structure builds on MD Health’s reputation for delivering insight-led, high-impact programmes of work across pharma, biotech, patient advocacy, and policy. With MD Social Impact, the group expands into the wider social change space — working with mission-driven organisations across education, equity, inclusion, climate, and more.
Leading the new practice, Kathryn brings a wealth of experience across advocacy, social impact, and strategic communications. Her career spans national campaigning, nonprofit leadership, and corporate consultancy — including leading mobilisation for Open Britain and the People’s Vote campaign. She currently holds board roles with Terrence Higgins Trust and Pride Wide, offering a deeply intersectional and global perspective.
“Joining MD Comms Group to lead MD Social Impact is a profound opportunity,” said Kathryn Breitner Fermor-Hesketh. “We’re here to help organisations shift narratives, move resources, and challenge systems — all through the power of storytelling. This isn’t about optics. It’s about impact.”
With the creation of MD Comms Group, the agency is signalling a bold new direction — one rooted in collaboration, intersectionality, and the belief that strategic storytelling can advance progress across health and society.
